LEGENDARY INTERVIEW

Design Legends ("DL") had the distinct honour to interview legendary designer Rozita Sophia Fogelman ("RSF") for their original perspective and innovative approach to design as well as their creative lifestyle, we are very pleased to share our interview with our distinguished readers.

DL: Could you please tell us a bit about your design background and education?

RSF : My first art

DL: How did you develop your skills as a master designer?

RSF : Working hard, smart and creative in the past 50 years. I gave myself away to become a master. I always feel that I have so much more to learn.

DL: Irrelative of time and space, who you would want to meet, talk and discuss with?

RSF : The list to this question can be very long. Let me come back to it.

DL: How do you feel about all the awards and recognition you had, is it hard to be famous?

RSF : No. I feel great. Thank you! And there is always room for more because It gives me the energy to push myself to new horizons.

DL: What is your favorite color, place, food, season, thing and brand?

RSF : I do not have anything favorite.

DL: Please tell us a little memoir, a funny thing you had experienced as a designer?

RSF : Once my daughter asked me to design a logo for her new brand, and after my second try she still did not like my proposal, so I told her that she was the most difficult client I had in the past 30 years of my professional work as a designer. We both laughed out loud.

DL: What makes your day great as a designer, how do you motivate yourself?

RSF : I go out to nature, to the ocean, and hug the trees.

DL: When you were a little child, was it obvious that you would become a great designer?

RSF : Yes. At age five, I knew that I wanted to be great like Mozart, Chopin, and Tchaikovsky. I started dancing at age 2.5. and studied classical dance and music since I was 6 years old.

DL: What do you think about future; what do you see will happen in thousand years from now?

RSF : I wish I knew.
