DL: Could you please tell us a bit about your design background and education?

AT : Bachelors of Architecture from Anna University, INDIA

DL: What motivates you to design in general, why did you become a designer?

AT : to make the space we dwell & its environment a better place.

DL: Did you choose to become a designer, or you were forced to become one?

AT : I choose to become an designer

DL: What do you design, what type of designs do you wish to design more of?

AT : I design Residences & Retail store. i would love to design more of resort & hospitality projects

DL: What distinguishes between a good designer and a great designer?

AT : sensitivity

DL: What makes a good design a really good design, how do you evaluate good design?

AT : fine details & attention to smallest requirements

DL: What is the value of good design? Why should everyone invest in good design?

AT : it makes life better.

DL: What would you design and who would you design for if you had the time?

AT : A private residence to one of my client

DL: Who are some other design masters and legends you get inspired from?

AT : Toyo Ito & Zaha Hadid

DL: What are your favorite designs by other designers, why do you like them?

AT : Benz Museum by UN Studio

DL: What is your greatest design, which aspects of that design makes you think it is great?

AT : ABC EMPORIO & Its Facade

DL: If you hadn’t become a designer, what would you have done?

AT : i would have become a sportsmen

DL: How do you define design, what is design for you?

AT : design is functionality with purposeful aesthetics

AT : authenticity

AT : everything is connected to design if design is better our surrounding gets better.

AT : a showroom

AT : we try to understand the site & the clients need

AT : Awards are good motivation.
