LEGENDARY INTERVIEW

Design Legends ("DL") had the distinct honour to interview legendary designer EMARA DESIGNS ("ED") for their original perspective and innovative approach to design as well as their creative lifestyle, we are very pleased to share our interview with our distinguished readers.

DL: Could you please tell us a bit about your design background and education?

ED : I was born in Egypt .Studied Architecture in Mansourah university and graduated in 2018 . IN 2012 , Emara designs established in 2012 .We're well equipped to handle today's planning and design challenges, whether the project is interior design , exterior design or urban design . It's our duty as a pioneering architecture firm to deliver true, value-based engineering solutions to meet any design challenge, through skilled planning and tested experience.our primary objective is to deliver quality services on-time and on-budget for every assignment, regardless of size, scope or location.

DL: What motivates you to design in general, why did you become a designer?

ED : It was my dream to be a designer .

DL: Did you choose to become a designer, or you were forced to become one?

ED : No , i chose to become a designer.

DL: What do you design, what type of designs do you wish to design more of?

ED : I am architect , i design interior , exterior and urban design .

DL: What should young designers do to become a design legend like you?

ED : they have to focus on what they want ,improve themselves and think out of the box.

DL: What distinguishes between a good designer and a great designer?

ED : Good designers choose their profession because they are artists and creatives, looking for an outlet for their passion But great designers understand that it takes creativity plus an understanding of business to create great designs..Great designers pro-actively look to get out of their comfort zone. They look to constraints and challenges for ways to inspire creativity. They don’t take no for an answer, but understand the value of “not quite yet”. Great designers know they are not great, but are always looking to get there.Great designers believe in the quality of the product, the quality of the brand, the quality of the experience and never let those standards slip

DL: What makes a good design a really good design, how do you evaluate good design?

ED : A good design should Finding a formulation of the vacuum provides convenience to its users, it is necessary to employ materials and elements available for integrated vacuum so that it can continue for long periods without the need to change, and find innovative solutions to complex problems in a vacuum commensurate with the nature of his client's psychological, emotional, and commensurate with the vacuum .

DL: Who are some other design masters and legends you get inspired from?

ED : Norman Foster . Zaha Hadid . Frank Gehry

DL: How could people improve themselves to be better designers, what did you do?

ED : Continuous learning needs to be a constant , Stop feeding themselves ego and accept advises from people and other designers ,they need to know how to face criticism .
