Design Legends ("DL") had the distinct honour to interview legendary designer 7654321 Studio ("7S") for their original perspective and innovative approach to design as well as their creative lifestyle, we are very pleased to share our interview with our distinguished readers.

DL: Could you please tell us a bit about your design background and education?

7S : China Fujian Children's Vocational College of Art Design.

DL: What do you design, what type of designs do you wish to design more of?

7S : I am a graphic designer. In the future, I want to do product design, industrial design, space design, architectural design, clothing design ... I also want to be a chef and musician ...

DL: What should young designers do to become a design legend like you?

7S : Cheer yourself up every day when you wake up.

DL: What distinguishes between a good designer and a great designer?

7S : There is no standard.

DL: What makes a good design a really good design, how do you evaluate good design?

7S : Problem-solving design

DL: What is the value of good design? Why should everyone invest in good design?

7S : Good things are needed in life, and good things need good design.

DL: What would you design and who would you design for if you had the time?

7S : I want to design the most authentic design for everyone.

DL: What is your secret recipe of success in design, what is your secret ingredient?

7S : Use your brain, your heart, and your hands.

7S : Logo design, packaging design, product design.

7S : Go to be a cook.

DL: How do you define design, what is design for you?

7S : Design is strategic thinking.

7S : I and my friends who support me in designing.

7S : My firm heart

DL: What were the obstacles you faced before becoming a design master?

7S : Various garbage designs in the society have caused me a lot of misunderstandings when I just started designing.

DL: How do you think designers should present their work?

7S : Be generous

DL: What’s your next design project, what should we expect from you in future?

7S : A lot, I will post again in the future.

7S : I don't know.

7S : Use the right way to solve the right problem.

DL: What are you currently working on that you are especially excited about?

7S : Manage a five-person design studio. In order to make money, I must be excited every day. Everyone in my team must be excited. Otherwise, designing in China will not make a few dollars.

DL: Which design projects gave you the most satisfaction, why?

7S : Any project that meets excellent customers is interesting.

DL: What would you like to see changed in design industry in the coming years?

7S : In China, designers can now be respected, and design works can be satisfied.

DL: Where do you think the design field is headed next?

7S : More and more sincere.

7S : A female client came to me for a project, but later the project was not completed and became my girlfriend.

DL: What makes your day great as a designer, how do you motivate yourself?

7S : Use sensitivity to find everything you want in life.

DL: When you were a little child, was it obvious that you would become a great designer?

7S : I was a fool at that time.

DL: What do you think about future; what do you see will happen in thousand years from now?

7S : I don't like the future.
