DL: What distinguishes between a good designer and a great designer?

CDCL : A good designer will accomplish what the client needs but great designers should understand the client and suggest your professional advice to achieve the very best result.

DL: What makes a good design a really good design, how do you evaluate good design?

CDCL : It is very personal to judge how good a certain design is. Some people may love it and some may hate it as everybody has their own opinion, so in order to evaluate good design it could be based on the majority of people which tend to like it.
